Bell Pepper

September 20, 2017 By Amelie Desormeaux

Bell pepper_smallRich in antioxidants and vitamin C, bell peppers are the perfect combination of sweet with a little bit of spice. They come in all different colors and sizes so don’t be surprised if you bell pepper doesn’t look exactly like the ones in the store.

How to Harvest: Cleaning cut off the branch with scissors or a knife once the pepper has reached your desired size. The longer the pepper stays on the plant the sweeter it becomes.

How to Prepare: If large enough, you can stuff them with ground beef, cheese, onions, and tomatoes and bake them in the oven. You can also cut it and have it fresh on a salad or sauté them for meals.
