Earth Day is April 22nd, and we suggest celebrating by supporting your favorite local sustainability non-profit – Green Light New Orleans!
Your support is a gift not just to us, but to your local and global community! Your support funds our rain barrel program by providing supplies, supporting our staff, sending rain barrels and educational materials to schools, and engaging volunteers! Essentially, your Earth Day gift will be the gift that keeps on giving! A one time gift is simply wonderful. A recurring gift is glorious. Encouraging a friend to give is encouraged!
Donations can be made at the following levels, or choose your own donation amount that works for you. Every little bit makes a difference!
- $10 – Keep our energy efficient lights on (really truly makes a difference – every little bit helps)
- $30 – Provide some supplies (for parts, pieces, and paint)
- $50 – Give a student a “Rain Barrel Culture & Practice” book (covers the cost of one rain barrel book for a classroom)
- $100 – Send a barrel to school as a teaching tool (this level allows us to deliver a barrel and paint kit to a school classroom)
- $175 – Beautify a barrel with art
- $500 – Build a barrel and send it to it’s home (this level allows us prepare and install a barrel, covering all costs)
