Sun Dec 3 @ 3700 Toledano (Southbound Gardens)

Saturday Morning
Learn the foundation of Permaculture!  We will learn the principles behind the garden space and have an activity to understand design inputs/outputs.
Saturday Afternoon
We’ll talk about what plants to plant together, and where to plant them, but Guilds & Zones is so much more!  Followed by an activity on seed saving.
Sunday Morning
Gene will introduce the popular Food Forest concept and Jordan will take us deep into the strategies for our subtropical climate.  Bring a map or drawing of a property and we will help you design it!
Sunday Afternoon
Aquaculture systems are far more productive than land based ones, and they can end street flooding!  This is Gene’s specialty and together we’ll design Southbound Gardens’ integrated water catchment and aquaculture growing systems.
