Sunday, Jan 21st 11 am @ 3700 Toledano $20 suggested donation Learn how easy it is to compost at your house or troubleshoot your current compost pile. Worm composting and compost tea will be covered as well.
Saturday Jan 27th 1 pm @ 3700 Toledano $15, must register in advance HERE - max 20 participants We will be demonstrating our urban beekeeping operation and teaching you all the most important steps to get your apiary started. Taught by our good friend and Southbound Gardens' beekeeper Caryn Hassel.
Sunday, Jan 28th 1 pm @ Southbound Gardens, 3700 Toledano $20 Suggested donation, no one turned away A highly practical guide to get you started growing veggies in your garden for cheap. This class will focus on raised beds, soil preparation, watering, and plant selection.
