February Garden

February 27, 2018 By Amelie Desormeaux

IMG_7073Wow! This beautiful weather is just perfect for growing plants! Still mild enough for our salad greens and root vegetables and warm enough for our fruiting plants. We are currently waiting for our seedlings to grow a bit sturdier in their pots before putting them in the garden beds. In the meantime, we are refilling the garden beds with compost so that the plants will have plenty of nutrients when they are planted. We are also gathering leaves and wood chips that will be used as mulch for our beds.

These are the seedlings that are growing like crazy:

Arugula

Mizuna

Broccolini

Bell Pepper

Cherry Tomatoes

Brandywine Tomatoes

Cilantro

Parsley

Leaf Lettuce

Beets

Radishes
