“This experience was very unique compared to other (volunteering experiences) both in NOLA and at home. One significant difference is the outstanding organization. Prior to leaving the Green Light headquarters, we were well equipped with all of the instructions and directions we needed to complete our task. In addition, we all were well educated on the use and benefit of the bulbs."

How
do our volunteer events work?
All the volunteers meet at a specific location. (Most likely our office. See address on the right side)The
volunteers go out in teams of 2-4 people. You will go to homes and
replace the light bulbs in a home. We will have light bulbs, forms
and a map ready for you at the meeting point and will introduce you
to the program and provide you with all the information.
The home owners have been informed about your visit and they will have
a ladder or step stool ready.
