Check Out Green Light in Treme

Last week we brought the ideas of energy and the environment to life for 2nd and 3rd grade students at Success Preparatory Academy, which is located in the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans. The kids were super excited to learn how to take care of our precious planet, and the teachers were so helpful in allowing us to teach their students about our environment and the importance of saving energy. We even took the lesson out of the classroom and into the streets! On Saturday, May 8 the students volunteered with us to help change light bulbs in their own neighborhood. Now that’s hands-on learning!
