For Teachers

The rain barrel service-learning program is sponsored by The Brown Foundation, in partnership with STEM Library Lab. We provide rain barrels, curriculum guides, and supply kits to classrooms so that each barrel becomes a cross-curricular learning experience. Our program is a no-cost unit that infuses classroom science with creativity and emphasizes local environmental issues in New Orleans. 

Delivery or pickup options are available to teachers within the New Orleans levee system, and teachers from schools further out may apply on a pickup-only basis. Apply here to be a part of our 2026 – 2027 school year!
