More about the interns!

It’s Lisa again, and this week’s blog we’re featuring two more of our summer interns- Tiffany and Michelle! We’ve had a full week of volunteers and installation routes, and all the interns are doing a great job keeping everything scheduled and organized!

Get to know Tiffany:

My name is Tiffany Simon. I am 18 yrs old and from New Orleans. I am an oldest child. I have an 8 year old brother and a 5 year old sister. My favorite color is blue, my favorite food is pizza, and I would describe myself as a very creative and helpful person. I love to create new things and use my imagination. I also love helping other people. When I am older I would like to be a doctor or an artist. I think Green Light New Orleans is a great program because it helps the environment as well as helps people save money. When I first started working at Green Light, I got a chance to go out and help install the light bulbs. It was so much fun and I met so many new people. Hopefully I can go out and do it again next week!

Get to know Michelle:

My name is Michelle Tolbert. I am a current student at Eleanor Mc Main high school. I am approaching my junior year. My birthday is January 19, 1994. I have three brothers and four sisters. My mom has three children, and out of the three of us, I’m the only girl and the oldest. During my spare time, I actually write and study music. I currently play two instruments, the piano and trombone, and am learning how to play the guitar. I have been on the honor roll since elementary school and am very proud of my schoolwork. I’m a nice person and love my family and friends with all my heart.
