Bikes, Bikes, & More Bikes!!

This week Green Light got to work with two very different kinds of bikes…

First we received two Citizen Folding bikes as part of a grant Green Light received from the Rotary Club of New Orleans, and we couldn’t be more grateful!  Citizen bikes are all collapsible making it super convenient to store and transport them.  The bikes we received are part of Citizens stylish “Miami” series, and are a fun lime green color.  The bikes will be used for volunteers to do more bike installation routes, further reducing our carbon footprint.

Then later this week we worked with a slightly different kind of bikes… motorcycles!  That’s right, our first ever motorcycle route!  Six bikers came in to volunteer, completing seven installations and installing 77 CFLs in the 70119 neighborhood.  Thanks guys!
