Did You Miss the Last Recycling Drop-Off Day?

Not to worry! The City of New Orleans Department of Sanitation hosts recycling drop-off days on the second Saturday of each month where you can unload items that cannot be put in your curbside recycling bin, such as tires and E-waste.

Where: 2829 Elysian Fields Ave.

When: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

What you can recycle: Paper products (e.g. newspaper, junk mail, phone books, office paper), plastics: #1-3, small metal cans, up to 4 tires, cardboard, boxboard (cereal boxes) and waxboard (juice boxes), E-waste (computers, laptops, cell/telephones, cables, x-Boxes, Wii, MP3s, DVRs, DVDs, circuit boards, GPS, ink/toner cartridges, digital cameras, fax machines, stereos, security systems, beepers/pagers)
