Green Light Marches On

The March on Climate Change continues. February is here and Green Light New Orleans is still in need of volunteers to help us reach our goal of installing 80 thousand light bulbs by March 31. Local volunteers who complete two or more service projects with us will receive a gift card to a local business.

We are now offering gift cards to Dirty Coast Apparel and Garden District Book Shop for March on Climate Change volunteers!

Dirty Coast sells quirky, fun T-shirts and other merchandise specific to New Orleans culture, including the seafood industry, Mardi Gras, and black & gold for Saints fans. They are located at 5631 Magazine St. and 329 Julia St.

Garden District Book Shop is located at 2727 Prytania St. and carries a variety of regional- specific books from fiction to art. The store also has book clubs that meet regularly.
