Lemon Balm
Lemon Balm makes a calming tea. It has anti-inflammatory properties and helps you sleep. Our garden coordinator Megan loves this tea. It always calms her down.
How to make Lemon Balm tea:
Nothing easier than that! Wash the leaves and add them into your tea pot. Pour boiling water over it and let it steep for 10 minutes.
Cautions to be aware of:
Pregnant women and individuals taking the thyroid medication, thyroxine, should not use Lemon Balm in high amounts. Also, caution should be used when giving oral treatments to infants and children. Breastfeeding women should also avoid taking large doses of lemon balm.
